Guest Post ~ Davee Jones ~ Eve’s First Noel

Synopsis of Eve’s First Noel—

Eve desperately needed to find Christmas magic to help get her through the holidays. Noel
needed to fill the cavernous, lonely void in his heart.

Decked out in her sexiest holiday finest, Eve strolled into Noel’s life more unsure of herself than
ever, yet determined to find joy for Christmas. Noel was having trouble learning to live ardently
again, but one look at Eve roused his dormant masculine desires.

When they met, their smoldering chemistry thawed the frosty passions lying latent within each of them. But, can love really happen when two strangers meet by chance? Or is it only a momentary seasonal gift? Noel must help Eve destroy the bitter remnants of her past, while opening himself up to adoration once more. Finding a creative way they can both release their doubts and
welcome this heartfelt new opportunity will be pivotal for their love in Eve’s First Noel.

Welcome, Eve and Noel. I’m so happy you were able to join me today.

Eve – “Thank you for hosting us, Erika. It’s exciting to have the chance to share a little about ourselves
with your readers.”

Noel – “Yes, I want everyone to know how lucky I am to have this feisty little sprite in my life.” (Kisses
Eve soundly.)

Eve- “If you keep that up, Erika is going to have quite the show in front of her.” (eyes smoldering) “or,
maybe she would join us?” (bats eyelashes at Erika)

Erika: * Laughs * Maybe, Sweet Eve.

Noel – “Erika is quite the sexy lady, but, I know she has us here right now for serious writing business. Alright, I’ll behave and maybe when we are finished, we can resume undressing you the rest of the way. I already know you aren’t wearing panties, which just excites me even more.” (to Erika) “Maybe you can clear some time for us later.’ (winks)

Erika: * Winks Back * Perhaps, Sir Noel. Perhaps, indeed. Now, let’s get going, shall we?

Eve – “Just trying to keep things spicy, baby.”

Noel – “Erika, I wasn’t expecting to meet Eve at the hotel that night. I just wanted some comfort, to be close to that place so important to me. This angel just happened to be there.” (squeezing Eve’s hand) “I wanted to go for my favorite beer, a Guinness, and reminisce on happier times. I was pretty down, but, when I saw Eve sitting there, I just knew something wonderful was going to happen.”

Eve – “Were you just trying to get me into a hotel room from the start?” (she giggles)

Noel – “It was way more than physical babe, but, damn, I’ll admit, all I could think of was your legs wrapped around me. The way you crossed them so sexily, so smooth and silky. But, really, it was something in your eyes and your smile that told me I must meet you.”

Eve – “When you approached me, I think I was still flabbergasted that a younger woman wanted to bed me. So, when you came up to me, I felt like I scored twice that night.” (she leaned in toward Noel) “You took the prize though. I hope she wasn’t too heartbroken.”

Noel – “I would have asked her to join us, but, I wanted Eve to myself that first night. But, Erika, can you blame me?”

Erika: No, Noel. I can’t blame you one bit. She’s lovely.

Eve – “I wasn’t sure I would find love again, but, meeting Noel told me I don’t think Nikolas and I ever shared true love, although it was a damn good imitation. With Noel, it’s the real thing.”

Erika: “That’s beautiful, Eve.”

Noel – “Well, Erika, I’m sure you are tired of hearing us talk on and on like school kids. How about an excerpt of our story for your readers?”

Erika: “Absolfuckinglutely!”

Eve – “We will give you a hot taste of my first time getting played by a crop. Wow, it was amazing…subspace…one of my favorite new destinations.”

Excerpt:
“Noel put the wire brush down and grabbed a black leather-riding crop. He used the leather tongue of the crop to brush Eve’s long hair away from the center of her back and slid the tongue along her shoulder blades. Methodically making his way down to the center of her back, he pulled the crop back and smacked her soundly across the small of her back. Eve barely winced and was intoxicated by her dizziness from his touch. Noel methodically smacked his way down her buttocks, to her quivering thighs and back up to her tanned shoulder blades. Red welts immediately formed on the skin of the back of her body. Noel whispered in her ear, “You will have a few bruises tomorrow, just a fair warning.” He gently kissed her earlobe speaking softly his words of endearment.

Finally, when he could contain his passion no longer, he pulled the scarf and it fell from her hands. She turned to face him and he grabbed her by the hair with each of his hands hanging at the sides of her face, and pulled her to him for a deep kiss. He twirled her long hair around his fingers as he kept her in close and continued kissing her and drawing her lips in to bite their lusciousness.

Intoxicated by what was happening, she could not stop the freight train of passion flooding her every movement. “Fuck me” she coarsely whispered into Noel’s face. She wanted to come, but her fervency told her to wait; although she would not wait patiently. He turned her around and pushed her down onto the floor and thrust his rock-hard cock into her pulsing pussy. “Oh, my” was all he could utter over and over for the next few seconds thrusting his cock into the wonderland of her tight pussy.

Normally he could control his climax, but this time, he could not. He came once again as he uttered a sigh of heavy relief. “It’s been so long, so, so very long…”

Noel reveled in the afterglow of his orgasm before he snapped back to reality and remembered where he was. Eve was lying on the floor underneath him, her chest heaving to gasp in deep breaths from the exchange they just had. He briefly felt a moment of betrayal toward Holly, even though she was gone and had been gone for a year.

They felt like the only two people in the hotel, falling into a deep and satisfied sleep. It was the best rest either of them had in months. It was like replenishing a parched soul with the waters of peace. They slept unmoving, yet melded together.”

Whew: * fans self * That was hot! Back to our interview:

Noel – “Now, Erika, we don’t always have to break out the toys in our intimacies, but, we are learning how to play with each other, and it’s completely exhilarating.”

Eve – “I never trusted anyone before to do those things to me, but, when it’s the right person, like Noel here, I can’t imagine anything more special two people could share.”

Noel – “We are building many new memories and activities together- both inside and outside the bedroom. And, it’s fan-fucking-tastic.”

Erika: I’m so happy for you two, and I can’t wait to read more about you. Thank you for sharing yourselves with me, and my readers. I hope you have a happy holiday season, filled with joy and pleasure.

Short Bio: Davee Jones began a career in the counseling field with her M.Ed. She then diversified and began work for the federal government. The dryness of the day to day assignments fostered the desire for her to do something more creative. Because writing was always a passion, she used every opportunity to journal and create fictional worlds with her words. She began writing short fiction and books, inspired by the events around her.

Now avidly writing, in the little spare time she has, she has several other books in progress.

Guest Post ~ Elodie Parks, The Next Big Thing

Welcome, Elodie Parks today, as she shares with us, her latest WIP. (Work in Progress)

What is the working title of your next book?

The Last Time
The Last Time is currently being edited and is an erotic romance with a dash of suspense.

Where did the idea come from for the book?

An friend from a few years ago works in the film industry and has often told me about the dramas that can go on.

What genre does your book fall under?
Erotic romance, but it does have a dash of suspense and mystery.

Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?

I can’t think of any to be honest. I’ve seen models especially male models that might fit the look I would want for both Seth and Jake. As for Bethany…no idea.

What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?

Roll with it.

Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?

It’s under consideration at the moment by publishers.

How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

First draft maybe four months. Then its gone through a re-write and two months of editing and reading until I was ready to submit it.

Who or What inspired you to write this book?

People looking for and hoping for love. Weird things they do for and because of love. The stories a friend told me as I said in question one.

What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?

The love scenes are hot. The story has a main female character who admits her needs, but is strong, intelligent and gutsy. The main male characters are both Alpha and tender. There’s a little mystery and pathos but a happy ending in the tradition of erotic romance.

Here are the fabulous authors I’ve tagged to tell you about their Next Big Thing!

Karli Rush
Morticia Knight
Kharisma Rhayne
Tonya Kinzer
Shiralyn J Lee

Please, make sure you check them out next Wednesday!

The Next Big Thing ~ Blog Hop

Good Morning! I am so happy to participate in the Next Big Thing, blog hop.  I have to thank Hunter S. Jones for asking me to participate. At the end of the post you will find links to the next big thing authors. Please, follow their links and check out what they have to offer.

What is the (working title) of your book?

Duality,  A Cordelia Kelly Novel.

Where did the idea come from for the book?

Cordelia is an empath, and she reads people really well. She struggles with her light and dark sides. The idea stemmed from myself, as I have the innate ability to do the same.

What genre does your book fall under?

Darker, more Urban Fantasy, I suppose. There are sexual overtones, sexuality, and sensuousness about Duality, so it bridges the gap, in my opinion. It’s hard to pin the genre down, so I would leave it up to you, once you read it.

Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?

Cordelia would be tough to cast, but maybe Scarlett Johansen or Kirsten Dunst. I also really love Melanie Martinez from the NBC show, THE VOICE. But she is really young. For Sol… Man, I have no idea. He would be impossible to cast. He’s mysterious, alluring, intelligent, dangerous and he oozes pheromones.

What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?

Duality is about balancing your needs and wants. There is a thin line between good and evil, and Cordelia walks the line with soft feet.

Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?

I self-publish

How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

About 3 months. My muse can be fickle and sometimes takes off for a while. But also, I have four kids, a husband and a household to run, and they sometimes have to come first.

What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?

I’m not sure, to be honest. Empaths aren’t all the rage, currently.

Who or What inspired you to write this book?

My need to release the emotions pent up inside my head.

What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?

I think a lot of readers will relate on some level to Cordelia. She’s a good person, her heart is always in the right place, but sometimes she makes bad decisions, and she’s had a lot of trauma in her life. She struggles with herself, with her opinions, with her needs and wants.

Hunter S. Jones ~ Guest Post

Hunter S. Jones – The Next Big Thing, and Guest Post

Welcome Hunter, I’m so glad to have you here. Without further ado, take it away!

Let’s start off today’s by giving a big shout out to Lucy Pireel for nominating me as The Next Big Thing and for inviting me to this blog hop. Thank you so much! This is my virgin experience at blog hopping and I am enjoying myself immensely-probably enjoying myself a bit too much, as usual, but that’s okay. It’s very flattering to have one’s work recognized by your peers.

My name is Hunter S. Jones, author of Fables of the Reconstruction, my debut novella. It is an historical fiction concept of zombies based on the Creole and Haitian voodoo stories. It sheds a whole new light on the zombie topic, so I have been told by the aforementioned Ms. Pireel in her fabulous review of Fables of the Reconstruction on Amazon.

Hercules Publishing calls Fables of the Reconstruction “A New Genre” which is the greatest compliment a writer could or would ever wish to receive. The iconic musician, Gerg Anidem, said on his Empower Radio Show endorsed Fables by saying the book is “Erotic. Exotic. Hypnotic!” How cool is that?

Here’s a bit about me. I have always been a writer, mainly covering indie rock bands, fashion and a few historical and artistic features along the way. I do not know why I write, it is just an intrinsic part of my nature. Sharing the sensation and the experiences of my life are rewarding. Incredible imagination – you bet! I currently live in Atlanta, Georgia but my formative years were spent mainly in Nashville, Tennessee. Many things could be revealed about me and my life. However, nothing you will ever learn about me is as interesting as the art form I create. It is wonderful that you want to learn more about my life and my writing. The fact that you are reading this blog promoting me as The Next Big Thing is thrilling.

Now, I want to take this opportunity to introduce some of my favorite authors. You may already know some of them and others may be new to you. Either way, it is definitely worth your time to take a look at their latest work

Steve Christie, author of Good Deed, a great Scottish crime novel. This is Steve’s first novel and you will be impressed by how well it is written.

Laura DeLuca, with whom I share a delicious secret, is your next need-to-know author. We can let you know more about our secret in the next few weeks. She just released a book this week, and it is named Morrigan.

GL Giles, co-author of Unputdownable Tales of Terror.

Author Nicole Hill. Have a look at Legacy Forgotten (The Avalon Legacies)

Have a look at their latest work, purchase and also check out their blogs next week.
Now, let’s get on with it and talk about my debut novella and my own ‘little monsters’ as I lovingly call them.Fables of the Reconstruction. You can find it only on Amazon.com and only in ebook format. Buy it today and make me happy.Where did the idea come from for the book?

Fables of the Reconstruction is based on a series of dreams. I wrote this book while I was under an intense amount of physical pain following Achilles tendon surgery. Whether you like the book or not will depend upon your personal taste and I accept that. For me, this little book has given me a creative outlet to place all the pain and fears I experienced during and after surgery. Creative writing kept me from the depression that generally haunts everyone who has to undergo Achilles reattachment. I hope you enjoy reading Fables of the Reconstruction half as much as I enjoyed the experience of creating it.

What genre does your book fall under?

Paranormal, Erotic Fiction. I chose to call it Rock Romance. Maybe you could call it Historical Romance, Alternate History, Dark Fantasy or Horror. You can decide once you read it.

Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?

Pierre von Minzle is definitely Jack White. If Jack isn’t available, then I will consider Johnny Depp. I can imagine Charlize Thereon playing Mary Montague. As for Polly Poppet, I believe Helena Bonham Carter would be fantastic. George Wilson of the Buffalo Bills would be perfect as Jean Paul Rouselle or Waka Flocka could play him, too. They’re both in Atlanta, so maybe I’ll mention it to them. I’ll let you know what they say.

What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?

Fables of the Reconstruction is the story of a Belgian pimp in Victorian London who has a ‘magic’ powder and claims to be undead.

Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?

I currently self-publish.
How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

The completed first draft of Fables of the Reconstruction took about six weeks. The ideas and the concept presented themselves easily enough however, the historical and supernatural content took substantial research.

What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?

I really don’t have an answer to this question.

Who inspired you to write this book?

I had repeating dreams about the main character. I came to realize that his story needed to be told.

What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?

Fables of the Reconstruction is sexy and it has a story – a surprisingly different story. I believe it’s original, imaginative and highly entertaining. Read it and enjoy
